MY VIOLIN When I was in 8th grade, I wanted a musical instrument for my music subject. Then I had a small flute. It was not a good one. But it tried to play it well. I was able to play that much better. But after a while I had a desire to play the violin. Then I had not a violin. But I did not bother asking for the violin for my parents. But I had a lucky chance. I was able to request a violin from one of my sisters. Her name is susanthika. She is much older than me. She had studied music for a/l exam. Therefore, she had a violin and she was not using it. At the time, she was working abroad. So, she gave me her violin to learn. That day I was very happy. I thanked her so much in my heart. It was truly a turning point in my life. Because I practiced violin well. As a result of that, I became more and more interested in music....
