My favorite singers in our generation

            

                There are a lot of singers that I love. But my favorite singer is Shreya Ghoshal, an accomplished Indian singer.  She is a very talented singer. Because she has studied well Indian classical music. She has sung many songs what many popular Bollywood movie songs. I think no matter what the language she can speak to everyone’s heart with her powerful and sweet voice. Every note what she sings can make feelings. That is the reason I love to her. Sonu Nigam is another of my favorite singer. I can introduce him as a movie songs singer. He can also speak to every people’s heart from his nice voice like Shreya.

                In the movie Parnita, which is very popular movie, we can see a lot of priceless creations mixed with their singing. I said that I have many loving singers. Some of them are Arman Malik, Argith Signh, Neha Kakkar etc.

         





And also, there are many talented singers in our country. Some of them are Meena Prasadini, Nadimal Perera, Sankha Dineth, Umariya Singhawansha, Thilina Sudesh Wanninayaka, Ridma Weerawardhana, Supun Perera, Shanika Madushani etc. As I think Meena Prasadini can speak to my heart and make my feelings happy with her powerful voice. So, I most like to her.



They are my favorite singers in our generation.

  Teachers I respect a lot           I have learnt from a lot of teacher since my childhood. They all taught me well. so, I respect all of them. but I had some teachers. But there were a few teachers I was closely associated with. most of the time they were my music teachers. When I was in sixth grade, my music teacher was Mrs. Nishadi Saumya. she is really good teacher. she loved me so much. because I was clever in Music subject. I have learnt many things from her.            Then I went to Madampa Central College for secondary education. There I met my best teacher. Her name is Mrs. Nirusha. She is also a good teacher. she treated me like her son. So as a teacher I love her a lot. Also, Mr. Sanath is a very good teacher. He also taught me a lot. He really taught me a lot of important things. Mr. Kapila is a loving teacher. he also loved me a lot. really, I love all of them. and I respect them very much.

  Great opportunity I got           I have had many opportunities. One of them was that I was able to sing in our church choir. I am Buddhist. But my mother is Catholic. Because I used to go to the temple and church. But until then a Buddhist had not been in the choir. However, our father recognized me from a school Christmas carol competition. After that He asked me if I could come and play the violin in the church . I did not expect such a thing. But I liked it. So, I said I would come.            Later I participated to their practices. That was a great opportunity to improve my playing as well as singing. Later I spent my time in the church and practice well. I had a desire sing with the choir . I was able to achieve that. Now I sing with them. It is really a great opportunity for me.
